Fabienne Snowden is on the faculty at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York. Snowden is an Assistant Professor and Director of Field Education in the Social Work Department. Dr. Snowden earned the PhD in Social Welfare at the Graduate Center, City University of New York and her research interests include investigating the relationship between contextual factors and individual level experiences, and how context informs effective HIV/AIDS prevention in the U.S. and Germany. Dr. Snowden’s signature pedagogy focuses on operationalizing intersectionality in social work education.
