Anthony S. Chilliest is a graduate of Wilberforce University, the nation’s oldest Historically Black College or University.
Mr. Chilliest is a California native transplanted to the City of New York. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Sociology in 1991. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from The Ohio Northern University in 1994. Mr. Chilliest began his career practicing law at The Kings County Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Division. In 2001 Mr. Chilliest became a founding partner of Donaldson, Chilliest & Mc Daniel, LLP (currently “Donaldson & Chilliest, LLP”) one of New York City’s largest minority owned and operated law firms.
As a senior partner of the law firm, Mr. Chilliest has a diverse law practice which includes: Commercial Real Estate, both transactional and litigation, the formation, and representation of Religious and Not for Profit Corporations in conjunction with the Development of Small to Medium Size Corporate Entities and Franchises. Mr. Chilliest also advises on creative methods to collateralize Commercial Entities and Strategic Development Projects.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Chilliest is or has been a member of a number of Bar Associations which include, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, the Bronx Black Bar Association among others. Furthermore, he serves as General Counsel or sits on the Board of numerous Not-for-Profit Organizations in the State of New York. As a commitment to his community he invests a considerable amount of his personal time mentoring “inner city” youth, both male and female. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York of the United States District Court.
